11/2/2018 At 0313 hrs Dauphin County 911 sent county units into the city for a carbon monoxide alarm while city units were on a 1st alarm fire. Engine 40 responded with a crew of 3. Mutual aid companies arrived on the scene and metered the home finding 28 PPM. Crews secured the gas to the home and stood-by on the scene till released by UGI. Time out was 1 hr 4 mins.
WSF Box 50-1
04-11-18 At 1953 hrs box 50-1 was struck for a reported structure fire. Chief 50 enroute was advised of a working fire and the box was upgraded to a 2nd alarm. Rescue 40 responded with a crew of 4. Crew arrived and was split into 2 crews. A crew went into the exposure building and a crew into the fire building. Crews assisted with fire attack and overhaul. Time out was 2hrs 23mins.
2015 OPEN HOUSE
Sept. 25 2015. This years open house is scheduled for Wednesday Oct 7th, 2015 at the firehouse. Start time is 6PM. There will be fire trucks on display, static displays, a fire demo, sparky the fire dog, arson/bomb dog demo, a smoke house and light refreshments.
2015 FIRE PREVENTION WEEK
Sept. 25th 2015. This year’s fire prevention week is Oct 4th through 10th. This year’s theme is “Hear The Beep Where You Sleep”. As a reminder to all, please check your smoke detectors and change the batteries.
