06/25/18 At 1524 hrs box 50-1 was struck for a structure fire. Rescue 40 responded with a crew of 2. Crew arrived on the scene and assisted with over-haul of the fire building. Time out was 1 hr 19 mins.

Transfer Assignment to City Sta 2

06/16/18 At 0810 hrs engine 40 was dispatched into city station 2 while city units worked a 1st alarm structure fire. Engine 40 transferred with a crew of 5. While on stand-by the engine crew was dispatched for an auto accident in the city in the 1-5 box. Upon arrival PD put fire in service no need for fire department. Total time out was 2 hrs.

Transfer Assignment To Cumberland County

06/07/18 At 1230 hrs rescue 40 was dispatched on transfer assignment to Cumberland County Hampden Twp sta 2-30 while company 30 and mutual-aid companies had a working fire at the fuel tank storage farm. Rescue responded with a crew of 3. Crew stood-by till released by command. Time out was 4 hrs 3 min.

Working Vehicle Fire Box 40-1

Odor Investigation Box 40-2

04-28-18 At 1055 hrs box 40-2 was struck for a reported structure fire. Chief 40-1 went enroute and was advised by county of an odor of something burning in the basement. Truck 32 took side A. Crews from truck 32 and Rescue 40 investigated and found a trip breaker in the basement. Basement was checked with a TIC and found no hot spots or odors. Homeowner was advised to contact an electrician and have his fuse box checked before turning on the breaker. Crew also installed a smoke detector in the basement for the homeowner. Time out was 23 mins.

WSF Box 88-2 Middletown

03-19-18 At 1430 hrs Rescue 40 was dispatched to box 88-2 to assist on a working structure fire. Rescue responded with a crew of 4. Rescue arrived on the scene and manpower was split into 2 crew. 1 crew went the 1st floor and 1 crew went to the 2nd floor. Crews assisted with extinguishment and opening up walls and ceilings. Time out was 1hr 17min.
